Human remains found near Disney World reportedly belong to woman missing 12 years

ORLANDO, Fla. (WKRC) — A family believes a set of human remains found near Disney World belongs to their relative, who had been missing for more than a decade. Sandra Lemire, 47, went missing in May 2012 after going on a date with a man she met online, WESH reports. She was living with her grandmother in Orlando at the time. The case went cold for 12 years until just a couple of weeks ago, when Orlando Police provided the last location of Sandra's cell phone.

Johnstown's Central Park could be impacted by downtown improvements

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — A city official confirms to 6 News that a major project to revitalize and beautify downtown Johnstown could impact Central Park. Economic Development Director John Dubnansky said the $24 million downtown project announced in February will target the inclined plane, the train station as well as sidewalks and improvements to Main Street. He said changes to the park could be part of final design. Dubnansky said a team in New York City will design several options for the city.

Police search for Altoona man wanted for attempted murder

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — Police looking for a man involved in an attempted murder investigation. According to Altoona police, shots were fired Tuesday night near the 1100 block of 4th Avenue. Police say shots rang out just after 8:30 p.m. when the suspect, 19-year-old Jahlil Williams, and the victim got into an argument over money owed from a previous a drug deal. Police say during the altercation, Williams pulled out a 9mm pistol and fired five rounds toward the victim as he fled to his car.

Steelers trade quarteback Josh Dobbs to Jaguars for 5th-round draft pick

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars have acquired quarterback Josh Dobbs in a trade with Pittsburgh, giving them a backup while Nick Foles recovers from a broken collarbone. The Jaguars gave up a fifth-round pick in the 2020 draft for Dobbs, who was in his third season with the Steelers. He was a fourth-round pick in 2017. He has played in five career NFL games, completing 6 of 12 passes for 43 yards and an interception.
