Pastor at Cambria Co. church placed on leave following accusation of misconduct

PATTON, Pa (WJAC) — Officials with the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown announced that Rev. Ananias Buccicone has been placed on administrative leave following an accusation of recent inappropriate conduct with minors. The Diocese says Rev. Buccicone is a pastor at Queen of Peace Parish in Patton and that authorities and law enforcement have been notified of the accusation. Anyone with information about child sexual abuse is urged to report it to authorities.

Greensburg man arrested, charged for robbing Walmart at gunpoint

GREENSBURG, Pa (WJAC) — State Police arrested a man on Saturday in connection to an armed robbery at the Greensburg Walmart, according to a news release. Troopers charged Christopher John Hilty, 31, with robbery and other related charges in connection to the incident, which occurred Friday night. Authorities say Hilty entered the customer service area at the Greensburg Walmart, just before 9 p.m. Friday, and displayed a handgun to the clerk.
