Salisbury woman accused of burning cigarettes on young boy

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — State police in Somerset County say a Salisbury woman is facing charges, accused of burning cigarettes on the skin of a young boy. Upon further investigation, authorities questioned 66-year-old Miriam Housel, who claimed that the marks were "birthmarks." Police say doctors at UPMC Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh concluded that the marks were not consistent with any accidental injuries and were left intentionally.
