Altoona, PA (WJAC) — An Altoona man was sentenced Thursday for shooting a woman in the Greenwood section of Logan Township in September of last year, according to the Blair County District Attorney Pete Weeks. Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities say a Philipsburg man is behind bars following an investigation into suspected child abuse over the weekend. Investigators say on Saturday, Feb. 11, troopers were dispatched to a residence in Chester Hill Borough for a report of a 1-year-old child who was found "face down" in a bathtub. Police say the child reportedly had numerous bruises on his body and he was flown to UPMC Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh for further treatment.
