TYRONE, Pa. (WJAC) — As of Tuesday, Penn Highlands Tyrone officials say they have zero COVID-19 patients.
They haven't had any virus patients for about the past month and a half.
Prior to that, they were averaging three or four per day.
But officials say they’re worried about holiday activities leading to a predicted spike in cases.
They say they feel they're ready to serve and care for COVID patients if need be.
UNDATED (WKRC) - Smoke detectors sold on Amazon have been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
According to the organization, the recall affects smoke and carbon monoxide detectors sold by CHZHVAN brand with the following model number:
The detectors are made of white plastic and measure about four inches in diameter. The back of the detectors contain three slots for AAA batteries, along with a printed label that includes the model numbers, instructions and battery specifications for the product.
JOHNSTOWN – Two people being sought on arrest warrants in Cambria County were apprehended Wednesday by members of the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force.
Officials said Blaine Vincent Jackson, 40, and Melissa A. Coleman, 42, were taken into custody in the 2700 block of Mosside Boulevard in Monroeville, Allegheny County.
Jackson was wanted on firearm, narcotics and theft charges, while Coleman was wanted on narcotics violations.
Both were taken to the Cambria County Prison.

Mercyhurst University hockey player Carson Briere issued his apology in a statement released Wednesday by the NHL’s Flyers.

Disney On Ice is presenting "Into the Magic" in Johnstown this weekend, taking place at the Cambria County War Memorial at First Summit Arena.
It tells a story about heroes in the Disney universe.
Those characters include Rapunzel, Moana, Belle and more.
Organizers said they've received a great response about the event from kids.
Ensemble skater Lauren MacDonald said, “They'll get to look forward to a lot of exciting ensemble numbers, very colorful costumes, dazzling special effects and getting to see some of their favorite Disney characters in the show.
