ELK COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Friday night, St. Marys City Council voted against a proposed mobile methadone clinic.
Methadone is a medication used to treat those addicted to opioids.
Council voted 4-3 against bringing a mobile methadone clinic that would have been operated by Discovery House CU, LLC.
Council member Shane Schneider voted in favor of the clinic.
He said Discovery House officials presented evidence as to why the clinic should be allowed to operate in the city.

HARRISBURG, PA — Harrisburg Police say they have arrested a man and are currently searching for another in connection to the shooting death of Torin Dworchak last week near the Civil War Museum.
