NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (KOKH) — Police in California announced they are investigating claims surrounding NBA player Josh Giddey Wednesday.
As first reported by ESPN, Newport Beach Police released a statement saying they are "aware of the information being circulated online involving an alleged relationship between professional basketball player Josh Giddey and a female minor."
"The Newport Beach Police Department is actively seeking additional information related to these allegations and pursuing all leads and evidence to obtain the facts of the case," the statement read.

Giddey declined to comment on the allegations after the Thunder's practice on Friday.
